Mr Michael May FRCS

Mr Michael May FRCS is Principal of The Wimpole Clinic and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1980. Since then, he has dedicated himself exclusively to the science and practice of hair transplant and replacement.

A key figure at The Wimpole Clinic for over 25 years before becoming Principal in 2001, Mr May has been at the forefront of medical advances in the specialist field of hair transplantation for over three decades.

In fact, in the UK, it was Mr May who was instrumental  in developing the then revolutionary technique of follicular unit transplant (FUT), now the mainstay of hair restoration surgery worldwide.
